This post gives formal notice of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Broughtonknowe Community Woodland Ltd and invites members to stand for election to the Board.

Date: Thursday 19 March 2026
Time: 7.00pm
Venue: Broughton Village Hall

The AGM will include reports and a lively presentation from the Board and Treasurer, followed by the election of the Charity Trustees/Directors. A full agenda and papers will be shared in advance.

Standing for Election to the Board

We have vacancies on the Board and we would be delighted if members wished to put themselves forward to join us. To read the Charity Trustee/Director role description, please click here. Members are invited to put themselves forward, or nominate another member, for election.

Nominations must:

  • be made in writing to this email address.
  • confirm the nominee’s willingness to serve
  • include a short statement (does not need to be more than 100 words)
  • be received by Wednesday 25th February 2026

Serving as a Charity Trustee/Director is a valuable way to support the future of the woodland and contribute to its operations, governance and future.
